There are a few things to consider as people have mentioned. The first is that Helm, while a decent player, will likely never have a higher sell value than he did his rookie year. The second is how important your PC is to you. The third is how badly you need the money, and what for(for me sometimes the decision came down to something as silly as whether or not I valued a $100 party night more than one of my better autos). Finally, if you ever want to get back in, how easy will it be to reacquire what you've given up.
I've been down this road a few times. I just graduated college last spring and for the better part of the past year, have been debating getting out completely, partially, or just sitting on everything. For me, money has been somewhat tighter. What I decided to do, was slowly liquidate absolutely everything but my Main PC, minus one or two of my other favorites. Primarily because my main PC in Brodeur, I know that whether I do end up selling now, or later, the card will still have value as he's a proven player with good demand. Most of my Parise stuff, I am selling, because if I had to pick one, I know without a doubt, Marty is my guy, and selling the Parise stuff is the only way I can keep my Brodeur pc. I also have some of minor PC's that in the current situation, I could care less about, simply because money means more to me know than when I bought them.
So really what I'd suggest is maybe keep your Ultimate Shield(or whatever I'm assuming your favorite card is), and sell everything else. Worst case scenario, its the card that will likely hold its value the best, and you can unload it later and still get a good price. All the other lower end stuff though will only drop in price. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to let you know I relate to your situation and to give it some good though as to what you will be getting out of the money you get for your collection.
