    Regular cardboard works, too...I've received dozens of cards where the sender just used a box flap, or folded up pieces of an old cereal box. There are probably a bunch of different and creative ways to secure a card, dozens of which I haven't even seen before.

    Your local LCS would be happy to give you a pile of them if you ask them to save them.


    what's the alternative one can use if no one has decoy cards? We can only get them if we break boxes.


    as for ed. The card was wrapped in a box flap (thin cardboard), decoys are nice a rigid so I think they are the best.

    Ah, I see. Yeah, you're right about decoys, they're perfect for packing up singles in top-loaders. I once bought a load of 'em off eBay for really cheap. It's a worthwhile investment if you do a lot of volume.
