Baseball is going to have to do something about this, but they wont until that bat hits someone in the face/eye and ends their career...

That was terrible. I haven't heard exactly what happened yet. I saw one where someone said he punctured a lung or something but I don't know for sure what really happened.

WOW, then this should be reason enough for Baseball to start changing things

Almost as bad as when Juan Encarnacion got hit with the foul ball on deck and never regained sight in his eye from where he got hit.

Hope Colvin is okay. Man, Brad Ziegler on the As dodged a bullet a couple weeks ago in a similar situation...baseball needs to start changing things with these bats...one of these days a fan's going to get hit with the sharp end, a player's going to get totally impaled...Colvin is lucky that didn't impale him man.

I understand they do need to do something about the bats but at the same time in not really sure what they can do... Its a freak accedent.... its something that happens in every sport almost every year.... so im not sure what the really can do about it...
