What's the problem with base cards??!!

I like base enough to put them in pages and a binder and they make a great coffee table book. The other base I'll sleeve them and put them away. I don't like having those dinged around for some reason. Probably my OCD taking over.

The only base I didn't like was the UD Ice base this year. Design looked cheap. SPA hockey base this year was the nicest. UD Series 1 is very nice this year too! Wondering if doing the 20th anniversary variation base set is worth it?

However in 96-97 Upper Deck must have produced in a massive amount of boxes since enough Sundin 96/97 UD Game Jerseys pop up on ebay. The BV is $80 but they sell for $15-30 which is why I still am missing that card from my Sundin collection.

There are only around 100 Jersey cards of every player offered in that year. So seeing a Sundin twice is about average.

I've seen Mario offered twice and a Bourque once, never have seen an Yzerman offered.
