Ebay Is A Joke............
sold a card, the main title wouldn't fit all the #'s in the title of the card... so it accidentally got listed in the main title as /49 when it should have been #'d to /499
the rest of the entire listing was correct.......
the person contacted me and wanted to keep the card and also get a refund.
I said no ship it back and I will refund the money.
so he puts in a dispute case. which he lied on & said he didn't receive the card... I escalated that & they closed it......
he put in another dispute case asking for a full refund, which I offered to begin with.....
so I escalate that to paypal claims because he refuses to ship the card back and they give him a full refund, I don't get the card back and everything is closed on it........
I just get ripped off.

yes, and not only that, but the person says all thru ebay messages that they received the card then on the second one they actually say they received the card and want full refund, and they gave it to them. without shipping the card back or anything.

well, it sounds like you have about as much luck on ebay as me! what you need to do now is click the closed case in your resolution center and see if there's an option to appeal the case. if not, you'll need to call ebay and have the rep appeal the decision for you. explain what happened, forward ebay the emails from this guy where he clearly states he has the card, and they should have no problem reversing the decision. but you'll need to appeal it. it's your only option at this point. sorry about your luck! hope it works out for you!!

yeah i'm about to do that as soon as they open in 30 minutes =0)
I offered the guy a full refund from the jump that's the crazy part about it, he's trying to rip me off on purpose. and pretty much says so in not so many words
"if you send me a refund i'll leave 5 star feedback"
"if not i'll open a dispute case & give you negative"

yea, i've had buyers like that before. if the case was opened through ebay, make sure you call them. if it was opened in paypal, i believe you will have to call paypal. one thing that has helped with most of the disputes going through ebay now instead of paypal, is that they give you an option to offer a refund but the buyer must return the item. when you choose that option, it requires the buyer to submit a tracking #. if they don't submit one in 7 days, it automatically closes in your favor. use that option from now on if ever in a situation like this again. however, I even had one case where the buyer just put all 0s in the tracking # field and ebay closed it in their favor. i again had to call ebay to point out the error and they fixed it, but it's the hassles and BS that gets annoying. the good thing though is that ebay usually can see when someone is trying to bribe your feedback score and bully you out of your item. so just be patient and be NICE to the ebay rep. you'll get MUCH more help if you are nice and calm. if you call ™™™™™™ off and yelling, they'll hang up on you! haha! anyway, good luck!

I honestly have to come back and say ebay did fix the issue, they actually refunded both of us, gave the guy the option to send the card back and will persue him for the card with tracking info, and if he doesn't provide it they will take the money back from him
