Islanders Stink!!! Sorry have to vent some frustration. Both their goals suck. Sorry for the post about the Islanders, Right now they don't deserve to be mentioned on here. Last 21 games 1 win 20 losses. Don't know what else to say.

Hey - It could be worse.....

Not exactly sure how it could be worse.......ummm maybe the NHL could be like European Soccer where the last place team goes to a minor league system and out of the NHL.....

I agree jeffgordon. This is getting ridcoulous already. I really can not find any good in this team. I have been an Islander fan all my life and watching their games are tough. The one good things is, is that they are all very fan friendly, so it does help ease the pain.

If I were a Jets and Mets fan I would be panicking more, but I believe that the Islanders will be great again. I just hope its in my lifetime.

Right now the best thing about them is Konopka and Gillies...best 'stache in the NHL right now along with Parros.

Only thing worse than being an Islander fan right now would be being a Devils fan...only 3 points up on the Isles who have a game in hand...and everyone figured Isles for last this year anyhow, no surprises just another year of my life wasting away.

One other good thing is maybe people will start unloading their Islander cards cheaper than they are allready and I can trade a 10/11 Nik Antropov jersey for a Tavares FW/Auto

I agree about the unloading of cards for cheap. Me and my 5 year old daughter have a Bruno Gervais (her) and Matt Marting (me) collection going. Hopefully we can soon start picking things up even cheaper
then we already do. :)

i think they'll be fine. one of their top guys, Okposo, is out. their best dman and pretty much their powerplay, Streit, is also out and they recently only got the #1 goalie (HA!) back and he's just starting to settle in. the Avs and Flyers tanked one season due to injuries and they bounced back fine.
