    HOF Game Used Collection 100% Complete

    Ok,I finally completed my HOF GU collection.Again Jersey cards were collected first.If the member did not have one,only then was a bat card collected.In some cases a bat was the members only GU card.I know of another memeber working on one and only one other who has done this.Who else has one complete or in the process? I'm open to questions and comments so let's hear em.

    Very nice collection. I was collecting a HOF auto/Gu collection. I was a few shy: nelson fox, josh gibson (I had a seat), McGraw, and Appling ....

    My only problem with your collection is Gibson....its a forbes seat...not gu bat/jersey...they actually make a gu gibson bat card (triple threads...$$$$)....another hof collector I know just bought one on eBay.

    Its amazing how many of the same card we had. I wound up selling all my gu cards and decided to stick with a HOF autograph collection. I currently am at 148 HOF (50%) and another 60 or so future HOF'er/stars. I'll have to post up when I have time...lots of scanning to do...

    Some fetch a good price on eBay...sold my Al Simmons (same one) for 165.00 (bidwar),..I had the same Frank Baker card...sold for 125 on auction even though the bv was i think 60....The McGraw, Lajoie, Mathewson, etc sold well also...

    Only thing that killed me about gu cards is some of the rare ones are expensive $100+. I hate that company's can still put out more and more and drive down the price...Example...my 2002 Tribute Milestone Tris Speaker bat card....bought it a few years ago for like 120 after a bid war......bv was 150...and they were going for 120-160 when listed....then came 2010 and all these newer tris bat cards selling for like 60.....killed the value of my card...wound up selling for like 85.....

    I have a feeling that's just going to happen to frank baker / lajoie / mcgraw / vaughan / appling.....where just a few older cards were made
