Never In Doubt, Right Habs Fans?
This team's performances some nights are not good for the blood pressure.
Up 4-0, everything seems in hand, then Auld has the total meltdown. By the time the smoke clears, it's a tie game and suddenly Carey Price gets to play against Calgary for the first time after all.
But then, in (cue Rick Jeanneret vioce) sudden death oooooovertime...
PK Subban.
Like I said, never in doubt.

Nice to see the Flames lose and Habs win. Great shot by PK, but it should've never gotten to that point.
Now, the celebration. Tanguay didn't mind, Karlsson didn't mind, Cammalleri didn't mind, but did Gomez mind? After PK scored and skated to center ice, Gomez kind of just stood there and didn't show any excitement. Maybe that's just his personality, but it was a big goal so you'd think he'd have a more positive reaction.

I like what Mike Boone said about it:
P.K. is having a good time playing professional hockey. He's the darling of the Bell Centre, and the dramatic goal just added to a legend in the making.
But behind the flamboyance that annoys Don Cherry and all the other Orange Ontario spinster aunts that run the league and dominate TV coverage, there is one helluva hockey player.
That's the important thing in all of this - he's a guy that can bring it. I still don't understand why everything he does results in a hullabaloo, but hey, he just scored the biggest goal of his NHL career. Let him have his fun.

Yeah, I find it ridiculous how he seems to have to apologize to the media for every little thing he does. During his interview he even said that after he did his celebration, maybe he shouldn't have. When Taylor Hall scored his OT winner he didn't have to apologize for his celebration which was no different than Subban's. Neither of them did anything wrong, they both just scored the biggest goals of their career so far, let them enjoy it.

Especially when it's in front of YOUR crowd... Did the Montreal fans seem upset in any way? Did his teammates seem upset? So then what's so wrong with a little victory celebration?
The trolls and pansies just need to look the other way. I think it's perfectly acceptable and not only for Subban but for all other players.
