HSBC Arena Questions
Hey if any Buffalo residents or fans could help me out it would be appreciated!
I'm heading down next weekend for a Leafs/Sabres game with a bunch of buds.
This is our first trip down and we are staying the night and would like to know if there is any good resteraunts shopping or uh entertainment that is in and around the HSBC. I think our hotel is 6 miles away.
Thanks!

Downtown
----
* 1 block over from the Arena you have Cobblestone and Benchwarmers
* Pearl Street Grill and Brewery is about 2-3 blocks north of the arena
* If you take the Metro Rail up to the Theatre District, you have the Chippewa bars
Where are you staying?

Should we be looking for any choice foods? Something that will make us say OMG that was great. (Thinking of wings or something else us canucks do normaly eat).

you are close to the Stadium...
about 5-6 miles you have Duff's for wings... "nice atmosphere"
If you like BBQ, then BW's is good (haven't had in a while though)

I'm not a Buffalo resident.... but with the amount of hockey games, football games, and concerts I've seen there over the years... I can attest to the deliciousness of the food @ the Anchor Bar, where 'Buffalo Wings' were created :)

Looking for good food, and good prices - I recommend it big time. If you care about things like atmosphere, not so much.
Just take the trolley up from the Stadium, get off when the "free" zone ends, and walk another 2 or 3 blocks.
