    Yankees ST IP

I'm sure there are a bunch of threads on this already so sorry if this is redundant. I live in Tampa and want to graph the Yanks during spring training at their practices. How does this work? When do they practice? How do you get in? When do they sign and how often? Please let ne know anythig you know or have heard. I appreciate any input.

Jeter has been in Tampa for about a week now. I have no idea what the facility is like up there, but I'd be checking it out now and seeing if I could get lucky.

That's an interesting idea but what could I do? Just walk into the practice fields? I might sew what I can do. Anybody have any info about practices?

During the spring training games....before they practice at the field next to legends. you have to get there pretty early...but its hit or miss wherever you stand. I do not know which field they practice without a game though but some players do stay back and they sign sometimes. I haven't been too lucky down there. I got goose gossage and phil coke. Thats the only autos I have got when I went down both times.

Ok so do they practice every day and in game data? What times are the practices? And how did people get successes with jeter?

Only success I ever got was Jose Molina, that was in the park. I heard that the practice fields are your best bet but sorry, I have no info on that.

Go to the practice fields (the fields accross from legends field) i havent been up there for a few years but if its still the same the only thing sperating the players cars and you are a fence of bushes lol you cant go into the minor league complex but you can wait on the side walk by the bushes ive had very good success there with jeter, jackson, clemens, yogi like someone else said its a hit or miss those were not all in one day i would suggest if once you see the player walk out of the facility to his car Call out his name and ask if he would not mind to stop and sign usually if your polite and there are not alot of people waiting they will stop. also you can walk around the fields and kinda watch through the fence which if its still the same has a green tarp over it i know some people have cut little holes in them to see whos out there. also if you have a child or girlfrien/wife it ups your chance they will stop some will even come over to the fence to sign if they are shagging balls and you call them over.
