depends on when your going to be at spring training. like right now most of the players that arrive early cannot train at the major league ball park (i.e. legends field) till there actual first official practice which for position players is about 2 weeks from now. any of the position players that arrive early to any camp can only use the minor league facilities this is how it is at every spring traning site. right now most players that arrive early workout for about and hour or so most are done and out of there by noon you have to be there early to catch them going in or be there around 11:30 to catch them leaving right now its a hit or miss as these are not mandatory practices so some times they are out of there even earlier. this is also a good time to get the top prospects that are non roster invities.

now if your going to be there in march for the games then there are no workouts going on its strickly games. major league at legends and usually 2 to 3 minor league games going on at the minor league complex. best bet with any team in spring traning in march when there playing games is to go to a stadium when they have an away game as they leave 50% or more of there guys back (especially during the first 2 weeks of march as they usually use alot of minor league guys) they usually workout for about an hour and are out of there by noon

On this diagram of the field, where is the gate where you can line up to get autos?
Is it by the more southern single field or the north double field. I know there is fence with slots in it so players can sign, which field is it on and how do you get there? Any help much appreciated.

Do you just have to walk from the parking lot over the crosswalk and walk from behind the practice field down the righfield line?

the picture where rivera is walking looks to be the fence on the single field and where jeter is signing looks to be where the double field is. but they wont practice on those fields until March when they have away games. right now they are practicing at the minor league complex which south of where the parking is on that diagram. hope this helps

Has anyone ever been to a workout before position players reported? Where did the pitchers and catchers workout and did they sign anything? Last bump I promise.
