Got a failure on Thursday from Mr. Gene Cernan (The last man on the Moon). I sent Mr. Cernan a letter, two photos, a questionnaire, and a $3 donation sometime in January. I got all of that and a letter from "Astronaut Central" in Phoenix saying Mr. Cernan only signs his book, nothing else. It'll cost a fortune but I may have to try again with a book! Worth a shot!

Hi guys,

Now this isn't a TTM but it's an autograph someone got for me.

Let me explain-

Now as you guys know, I'm currently collecting autographs of politicians who have either served or were born in the South. A few weeks ago on Facebook I posted a status update saying I was sending autograph requests out to people (Jimmy Carter was included on the list). Immediately after I posted that I got an e-mail from my Uncle's friend Craig who said-

"Hey Ryan,
You don't have to write a request to Pres. Carter. I can get you a photo no problem.

-Craig"

Now Craig lives in President Carter's hometown of Plains, GA and even lives near his house. He contacted an employee of President Carter and said that he knew someone who collected autographs and asked if he could get a signed photo. The employee said no problem and got Pres. Carter to sign a photo. Well my Uncle delivered it to me yesterday and I love it! It's on an official photo, signed in silver Sharpie, and dedicated "To Ryan". Always nice to get an authentic Presidential signature This is the Holy Grail of my Southern Politics collection! Thanks to Craig, my Uncle, Pres. Carter's employee and President Carter!

Got a TTM and an autograph I won in a trivia contest today!

First for my Southern Politicians collection I got a photo from the Governor of Tennessee Mr. Bill Haslam! I fear it's an AutoPen though




And second, this one is real nice! I entered a trivia contest held by singer and fellow autograph collector Mr. Bylli Crayone and won! The prize? An 8x10 signed by the great Latin Pop singer Ms. Gloria Estefan! Mr. Crayone thank you so much for the contest and the awesome prize!

Got Boxing Hall of Famer and one of the greatest light heavyweight fighters of all-time Mr. Bob Foster today! He signed the two photos I sent him, one of him fighting Mr. Muhammad Ali in gold, and one of him on a boxing magazine in blue! What's cool about this success is he sent me the official signed card of him in the "2011 Leaf Muhammad Ali" card set as a bonus! This is an awesome success! Thanks Mr. Foster!

Nice boxing success! For some reason, they seem rare these days. I just haven't seen a lot of successes from boxers.

Got a quick and very awesome success from legendary comedian Jerry Lewis today! Jerry is most known for being in a comedy duo with Dean Martin. Jerry signed the "Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin" CD cover I sent him and also sent his own photo (Of him in the original "Nutty Professor" movie)! He signed them both "To Ryan All Good Wishes!"! Mr. Lewis, thank you so much!
