Tonights lineup:
1. Austin Jackson CF
2. Ryan Raburn 2B
3. Magglio Ordonez DH
4. Miguel Cabrera 1B
5. Jhonny Peralta SS
6. Brennan Boesch LF
7. Brandon Inge 3B
8. Alex Avila C
9. Casper Wells RF
Why is Peralta hitting 5th again? Has Leyland not learned Peralta has been not driving in anything with 2 outs (or less than 2 outs for that matter) and it leads to Boesch never getting the chance? and when Boesch is getting the chance he's driving runs in? And Raburn has less range at 2B than Peralta has at SS, thats how awful he is..If we're gonna not care about defense, might as well bring up Sizemore, who was awful at defense but atleast had much better range than Raburn..Hidden Content

I am a Tiger fan and I agree, Boesch should be moved ahead of Peralta without a doubt.

I know Peralta got an RBI hitting 5th, but if Rios doesn't field that like he's never played CF before, it should be a bloop single..but Boesch drove in Peralta as expected of him

Nice win tonight..Raburn finally stopped being so worthless, offense woke up and hit Buerhle good, and Pena once he came in from the bullpen..Verlander was solid, then Benoit & Valverde put the game on lockdown..
Brad Penny goes tommorow, 4:00 game on Fox, if the Tigers can win tommorow, strong chance for a sweep

Leyland finally listens to me, he must've read my posts
I'm nervous about Penny today, he loves his fastball and the White Sox do as well, however Verlander because of the cold yesterday threw mostly fastballs and it worked fine for him, hopefully Penny gives a solid performance today.

Nope, just you, he ALWAYS makes that throw, should've been an error, but AGAIN an umpire/score keeper ruins a no hitter (was possible for Penny) and a perfect game on Galarraga, but GREAT win nonetheless.
Penny was lights out, the offense was on fire against Jackson, great to see Jackson get a few hits hopefully he gets going. Avila has been crushing the ball all year as well.
