Just about making up some ground on KC/Cleveland right now..still way to early, but obviously I want the team to win some games..4 games at Toronto, then 2 at Minnesota followed by 3 at Kansas City. Defintly a chance to make up ground

It certainly would be a good time to get hot,a nice long winning streak puts you guys back in the race.I'm just hoping that Boston starts losing again,don't even want a race with them in september.

I hope they stay mediocre for alittle longer..Tigers play them 6 times in May..The pitching for Detroit has been putting it together for a few weeks..if the bats wake up, a soft enough schedule upcomming gives them some easy wins..of course Jim Leyland is still the manager, so....yea

And another win against the Yankees..Porcello pitched great..Don Kelly if he doesnt make an awful defensive play, Porcello would've not given up a run..instead he gave up 2..but timely hitting and a bunch of Yankee errors helped the Tigers get a 6-3 win.

Tigers pitching is really hitting a stride now, love it

4 game series starts tommorow at Toronto, Listch vs Coke tommorow, then Verlander vs Romero, Penny vs Reyes and Scherzer vs Morrow

3 of 4 seems very realistic, especially if Bautista won't be in the lineup..

Where'd all the Tigers fans go

Question for any Tigers fans still here:

In your opinion what should be done about the outfielding situation? If anyone saw last nights game, its 100% clear Ordonez should be no where near a baseball field to play defense, HUGE liability..Yes the last 4 games or so he's hitting better, but does any production he gives really outweigh his lack of good defense?

I hate Ryan Raburn with a passion but I think between him & Ordonez, Raburn is probably the better choice to start.

However, why isn't Casper Wells getting more ABs? He strikes out less than Raburn, better hitter, in the minors he's been hitting 25+ homers each of the past few seasons. I don't get why Raburn starts over him, really don't.
