What else can you say, Verlander was filthy and the offense without a hit from Miggy did some good damage, Penny vs Reyes tommorow then Scherzer vs Morrow Sunday

Probably a makeup call for the call at home plate..although he did drop the ball, never saw if he had contral after the tag..but its the 2nd time in the series a very bad call has been made that killed a possible rally

Another nice win today.
Penny had an excellent outing, then Schlereth gets the final out in the 8th and Valverde gets his 200th career save as he gets 3 strikeouts in the 9th. Offense was solid again, Jackson is really starting to heat up which was expected, but is great to see.
Get Raburn out of the lineup though, no idea why you sit Boesch who has been one of the best hitters for the team all year 2 days in a row..Makes no sense..
A win is a win though, Scherzer vs Morrow tommorow, getting 3 of 4 as the team goes to Minnesota would be excellent
