I guess Valverde didn't pitch for the last time in the regular season last night, because he's coming into close the game.

4 game winning streak to finish out the regular season and a 95 win season! Now the fate of the Tigers is in the hands of the Angels.
Valverde closed it out again and finishes the regular season a perfect 49/49. Peralta bailed out Leyland for using Ryan Perry in the 8th for some odd reason and letting him blow a 4-3 lead. Miggy went 2-4 and will win the AL batting championship, also!
The Tigers either play Friday at Yankee stadium with Sabathia vs Verlander or at Comerica Park with Verlander facing TBD

And because Jordan Walden is terrible at his job, the Tigers are off to New York.
Verlander vs Sabathia
My prediction: Tigers in 4.

Game 2 win for the Tigers! Max Scherzer was BRILLIANT, pitched VERY well.
Series goes to the Tigers advantage now.
Verlander vs Sabathia tommorow at home, Kenny Rogers will throw out the first pitch, also!

Game 5 in New York where the man, the myth, the legend, Douglas Wildes Fister has the Tigers season in his hands, and I have all the confidence in the world that he wins.

My anatomy teacher and I (go figure) were talking about the Tigers today since she's from Detroit...we decided that Furbush for Fister might be the awesomest trade name-wise in the history of sport.

Haha I know...but with Fister pitching for the season tonight, it seemed fitting to bring it back up.
Oddly enough, I pulled an Alex White rookie right next to a Ubaldo Indians base in a pack of Topps Update...ruined my day.
