Love me some dominant pitching!
Verlander was amazing tonight, again. Lead off homer by AJax, solo shot from Peralta and a RBI from Avila, with lights out pitching..all you can ask for..Now's the time to bury the Royals, gotta get it done. Good to have the first game since game 3 has Scherzer pitching.Hidden Content

7 straight!

Francis shut down the offense to his credit after the 1st, but the damage was done. RBIs from Miggy, VMart and Peralta did the damage, Penny was GREAT again today, Papa Grande shuts the door in the 9th, with a Yankees loss tonight Tigers will take control of the wildcard for now

and todays game has been postponed :(
Jays come into town tommorow, so Scherzer/Porcello will now be facing them..Hopefully with the extra day off they skip Coke's start and just move up Verlander.

Don't want to hurt the guy now..However just what I wanted to see. I wanted Scherzer to throw it inside on him, let him know not to get to relaxed.
Tigers with the early 1-0 lead. Dirks drew a walk in his first AB and Miggy just missed a grandslam, but a lead is a lead.
