buffalo needs a puck moving defenceman and a scorer now that roy is gone

we need more help but stafford and gerbe are definitly picking up there game.

now that the new owner is here we might actually have some deals

I find it very strange that without Roy in the lineup, the Sabres are 11-5-1. Call me a conspriacy theorist, but they have played better without Roy... maybe that is out of the running would be interested in Roy for next season (Toronto?!?!) with a pick for Kaberle and Versteeg?

the bruins need a center and a defenseman and a back up goalie for thomas

Back up for Thomas? Well maybe a true back up, but Rask has to be the best second goalie on any team. Strongest one two punch ever. Maybe trade him for another solid D man.

    The habs need

a 2nd line power forward (like Penner, Hartnell etc..)

some grit/toughness on the 3rd-4th line (like Neil, Prust, ott etc..)

a good defensive D-man (like Regehr)

    Here's an idea.

    To Wings: Justin Pogge
To Ducks (If he's still with them): 5th round pick

I WILL call you a conspiracy theorist as this is now the SECOND thread you've posted in saying we should trade Roy.

Personally, I think we need to keep him. I just don't see how we can afford to trade a guy who will get you a good 70-90 points a season. He was producing at a point per game (exactly a P/G). Just my opinion.

I think we need another grittier type defensive defenseman personally. I think our scoring has been great considering Roy has been out and with the emergence of Weber on the blueline I think we can dump some of our extra baggage and get a big guy who can play a physical game come playoff time.

Caps need scoring and the ability to win a game that goes past 60 minutes.

The Leafs obviously need a couple things and are in the seller mode but Burke wants players already playing or players ready to play...He doesn't want draft picks and has made that very clear....I was very happy to see Beauchemin go for Lupul and Jake Gardiner...Hopefully Gardiner will turn out to be a good d-men...However, they still need a top line center that can feed Kessel...This top line center needs to be big and a guy that could score goals..dustin Penner would be perfect...That would put Grabovski on the 2nd line which is where he belongs and would move Bozak to the 3rd line which is where he belongs...It would add alot of depth...Also they will need another solid defensemen especially if/after Kaberle is traded. Right now they have Phaneuf, Aulie, Schenn, Komisarek (who's terrible), Gunnarsson, and Lebda if Kaberle gets traded so another d-men will be needed. I also think that Giguere will be traded for something and Versteeg has a good possibility of leaving as well. As far as goaltending I believe Reimer is the answer we've been looking for...Big, quick, and very capable of being an every game goaltender..However, if Giggy is traded either they need to sign a backup or have faith in someone from the minors because Gustavsson's heart problems keep re-occurring so they need to have a back-up plan if they keep coming up...I have also heard rumors that the Leafs are trying to get Brayden Schenn from the Kings but I do see this happening...It would take Kadri, Kaberle, and maybe more to get him...
