    Man, my first?

I don't remember the exact first cards but I do remember the set.

1989-90 Pro Set, the one with the Team Logo Cards and the Referee one.

I remember my dad bought me a box of those in a drugstore because I was bugging him and they were also selling singles in Quarter Machine with two slabs of cardboard protecting the cards.

    Those were the days.

I also remember the first Expo I went to, I think it was in 92, and all the attention was around the Eric Lindros cards, all the rookies and subsets about him. It was a blur of cards for the little boy that I was and it was perfect (in my mind at least).

I miss this, I miss interacting with collectors in that way. Now I feel like the hobby is a solo thing at home in front of my computer while my girlfriend is either asleep or busy.

    Kind of sad

That's the one that officially got me addicted:

    1993-94 Donruss Elite #1982/10,000
It looks a lot better than the scan can show and even to this day, I still think it's one of the best looking cards I've ever pulled.

Pelle Lindberg RC. I still own it. It have an hole in it. I have abuse this card so much it would probably grade MINUS 10.
I have bought another Lindberg RC for my PC a few years ago (this one would probably get a 9 or a 9.5), but I will never get rid of the old one. Well... maybe I will give it to my first child (wich is expect in july!).
    I collect the following:
    - Vintage (Stars and RC)
    - 2010-11 ITG Decades (Auto, GU, bases)
    - Stars from the 1980s (in modern sets)
    - Montreal Canadians Legends (bases, inserts, parallels, #, RC, Auto, GU)
    - Montreal Canadiens actual players (inserts, parallels, #, RC, Auto, GU)
