    Phillies ST Brighthouse Field Question

Hey guys, I am going to some ST games, I have "berm" seating tickets to the games. Do you happen to know if they have the same entrance as the regular stadium? I'd hate to get there and learn that I can't graph because I have to sit up on the berm and can't get down onto the field pregame.

While I’ve never been to any actual spring training games, a lot of my friends have, and I’ve heard a lot of different stories and whatnot. The chances of landing a lot of autographs at the Phillies ST games are not that high. Way too many people go with the same mindset as you and it’s always mobbed. One of my co-workers went last year and he said it was extremely difficult. Best of luck though!

I have heard the same about the Phillies, so I also have plans to go to the Blue Jays facility one day- it is a few miles away from the Phillies.

However I am 6'6" and have a 6+ foot wingspan. I have a long reach that I have used to reach over crowds to get my items signed. I got Ryan Howard in Philly pregame as he was mobbed by a crowd that went like 4 people deep all around him for like 10 yards in every direction up and down the line, and I got carl crawford in tampa in a similar situation.

So I anticipate it being difficult, but I am going to get there when the gates open, stake out a spot on the fence and hope for the best.

Man...I bet the people in front of you hate you. haha.

Try the Orioles also...they are close to Clearwater and a lot of them are good signers, but above all else...enjoy the ST games even if you don't get all the success you want! ;-)

Where are the Orioles? I hadn't considered that. Maybe I'll hit them up on Sunday instead of the Blue Jays.

I'm staying 40 min North of Clearwater, so that makes a 90 min drive to Sarasota. Still a possibility though I guess. One thing's for sure: I'm avoiding the yankees' facility like plague- I bet that's even worse than the Phillies.

From what I’ve heard the Yankees do indeed have a huge volume that comes out to their ST games too (a lot of autos). I still think the Phillies will have the bigger auto crowds though because of the star power they have with Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Utley, Howard, JRoll, etc.

I hope you do good though, keep us updated!

I will def keep you all posted. I am also going to spend 1-2 days on the off fields (minor league facility) getting guys who haven't been invited to Spring Training but who will still be working out down there. Jonathan Singleton is numero uno on that list.
