The original plan was to go to Lakewood again for another shot at Harper. For some reason I decided to look at Hagertowns website just before i was to leave. Good thing. If i would have driven 2.5 hrs and found out he had gotten promoted i would have been Bleep Bleep. So, I decided to head to Staten Island and check off another new minor league park from my list of parks I been too. The Baby Bombers are playing a home at home series with the Brooklyn Cyclones. So, I added to the Logo sheet I had started last night. I got:
    Brett Gerritse
    Danny Borrell
    Robert Paullus
    Richard Rinnard
    Mason Williams
    Zachery Wilson
    Wes Wilson
    Matthew Tracy
    Reymond Nunez

Also got Mason Williams on a 2011 Bowman Chrome
Cito Culver SS OMLB, 2010 1st Rounder
I'm still missing 6 Baby Bombers, I'll head back there maybe 1 or 2 more times this year.

Since I never got Harper with Hagerstown. I guess I will give him a shot in Harrisburg. Its about 4.5 hrs away. I'll have to look at the schedule and see if he will be in Trenton or New Britain. Hopefully I will get him this year.

The Mets have been having Alumni sign at CitiBanks in the Tri-state area recently. Today I drove 45 mins for Rusty Staub. There where maybe 10 people there when he started. This was should have been easy. I planned on starting the Shea Seat back.
Well Mr. Staub announces he will only be signing the 8x10 that is being given out. On top of that he is personlizing. I don't mind this. But there should have been an announcement that he would not sign anything but the 8x10. I never would have taken the ride.

Went to the Mets game last night, not really expecting to get anyone. I brought my bag with me anyway. Couldn't get out of work to go early and ended up getting there around 4. Figuring everyone was in already I still hung around the Mets Parking lot. Just when I was about to walk away RA Dickey pulls in. At this point there were only 2 us. He signs for both of us. I got him on an 8x10. Didn't get the chance to try to graph inside. So, I waiting after the game back at the Mets Parking Lot. The security guys are a-holes. A couple of us where hanging out and Chris Carpenter came out on the Mets side and appeared to be waiting for a taxi. He was out there for probably 30 mins. So, I got him on SS OMLB. Nice guy, signed for everyone and hung and talked abit.
Not bad for a night that I didn't expect to get anyone

Tonight the Ducks played the Lancaster Barnstormers, I got the following
J.D. Durbin 2 cards, Former Phillies, Twin and DBacks
Marty Janzen 2 cards, Former Blue Jay (pitching coach)
Brandon Jones 2 cards Former Brave
Tommy Everidge 2 cards Former A
Cesar Carrillo 2009 Green GU Padreas Batting helmet. He had 3 AB's in the 3 games he pitched
and then there is a signed t-shirt by Tony Gwynn. He signed 50 tshirts and they are $20 apiece. So, I bought a black one signed in Silver with the HOF inscription.
i would have been happier meeting him and getting a OMLB signed. But, for now this will work
