Today the Capitals are in playing the Islanders. They are by far the worst signing team and expected it from last years experience. Ovechkin and Semin did not do the walk today. They went in a car.
Before and after the morning skate I got the following Caps on 8x10's
Roman Hamerlik
Joel Ward
John Erskine
Cody Eakin
Thomas Vokoun, also got him on a Caps Puck
Then the Capitals Logo Sheet
Bruce Boundreau (Head Coach)
DJ King
Jason Chimera
Marcus Johansson
Mike Knuble
Mattieu Perrault
Jeff Halpern
Matt Hendricks
Joel Ward
Then the Islanders I got on 8x10's
Al Montoya
Milan Jurcina
Mark Eaton
Brian Roloston
Steve Staois
In 2 weeks the Bruins are in on a Satuday. I've been told they are not good either and are expected to be worse since they won the cup.

Today at 2 different signings I got
I started my Jets Shea Stadium Seat Bottom getting Freeman McNeil and Wesley Walker. I'll get select Jets on it. Both guys where great. They took pictures and talked to everyone. They had plenty of time, It was not a big turnout.
and then I added Ron Darling to my Shea Seat Back. Ron is the 22 player to sign it.

Yesterday at a paid appearance I added Doc Gooden to my Shea Seat back.
Today at a paid appearance I added Lenny Dykstra to the Shea Seat back. Somehow the promoter arranged so that Dykstra could leave the California. While waiting online some of us where wondering if had an ankle monitor on. I wanted to tell him not to drop the soap. But, I'm not like that.
For some of you who are not aware. Dykstra has atleast 3 criminal cases pending. He will be go away for awhile.

Today the Islanders had a free appearance at the Team store.
It was supposed to be Nino Niederreiter. But, he had his bell rung pretty bad last night. So, the had rookie Dave Ullstrom sign instead. Not being prepared I ended up buying a puck. He signed it with silver sharpie.
I keep missing out on Nino which is why I went to the free signing in the first place.
This coming saturday, the Pittsburgh is in town. I've already heard that Crosby is not known to sign. But, I will be prepared just in case he does sign.

Today the Calgary Flames are in for there only visit to the Island. It is a Cold one out there today!!!! There where probably upwards of 40 graphers there today.
On a Flames Logo sheet I got
Clint Malarchuk (Goalie Coach)
Blake Comeau
Roman Horak
Leland Irving
Scott Hannan
Anton Babchuk
Tom Kostopoulos
Greg Nemisz
Paul Bryon
Chris Butler
Lee Stempniak
Then on there own 8x10's
Jarome Iginla
Blake Comeau (Former Islander)
Tim Jackman (Former Islander)
Cory Sarich
Curtis Glenncross
Brendan Morrison
Brent Sutter (Head Coach and Former Islander)
The only Flame that refused to sign was Rene Bourque. Kiprusoff and Jokinen must have taken the shuttle. They where never seen.
Jarome Iginla signed one per for everyone there. Then people started asking for extras and he got annoyed. I have not been doing Hockey IP that long and In my opionion. Iginla is the best player I've ever gotten. Nice to see one of the greats taking time to sign. Unlike most other big stars. He didn't walk back after practice.
Then Islanders I got, Anders Nilsson and Kyle Okposo on 8x10's. I just need 5 more guys this season. I passed up on a lot of guys that I've already have. I may start a yearbook or a 40th Ann. Logo.
I guess 20 auto's for the day is not bad. I wish I would have done better.Last edited by howiek; 12-29-2011 at 03:48 PM.

Well its been a great year for IP graphing. Probably my best, added some great auto's to my collection and met some real nice people while I traved a bit this past baseball season. I added the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, Staten Island Yankees, Rockland Boulders and Lakewood Blueclaws to my list of teams and home stadiums I've been to. This brings my total to 23 different minor/major league parks. Hope 2012 is a better one and I hope to add a couple of more stadiums to my list. Thanks for reading and Hope everyone has a Happy and Health New Year. I will start a new thread sometime in January. Oh and I added a link to my photobucket. I've started to take pictures of my memorbabilia and autograph collection.
