Ebay feedback commenting?
I'm so furious right now I could hit something. One item I sold on ebay apparently got lost somewhere along the line, buyer complains he hasn't got it, I refund it (but also open to send an identical item, with tracking option that he pays extra), he wants the refund. Then few hours later he goes and leaves me a negative feedback saying I lie about shipping it and I'm a scam artist! What the F... for starters its impossible to do scams like that, buyers pay through paypal and can always claim a non recevied so how exactly would that be possible, second, what the h*ll is he doing after I'm nice and refund him without hesitation.
And finally, why can't I leave a comment like usual on the feedback? And where's the Help centre on ebay, has that been removed?

Try and see if the feedback violated some policy, such as personal insults and the like. eBay is terrible for sellers.

No I just read their feedback abuse rules, and while they discourage from using words like scam artist it's not forbidden. At one point they say "ebay will change feedback if you show a court order". That is so funny it's sad. Found how I can add comments at least.

that stinks, but I wouldn't worry about it. your positive feedback will burry it. you just run into guys like this from time to time on eBay. I had a buyer that I sold a garage door opener to. He got it and it didn't work. I had him return it and gave him a refund once he said it didn't work. Dude still popped me with a neutral that said something like... gave full refund but item didn't work.

the feedback issue will never keep me from selling, but then again I do it as a side business. Without ebay my side business would be non existent for the most part. I'll put up with the few quarky buyers. It's well worth it in the long run. Most ebayers are great and if you hold up your end of the deal they do as well. You do have to protect yourself more than what you once did, but it's not that much trouble to do.

I always, always, always use delivery confirmation and I always ship thru PayPal. That way if a claim is opened I have PayPal as "back-up" to show that I shipped. If you can provide proof that you shipped then you will always win the claim.
I just had a guy message me last night on eBay having a fit because he hasn't gotten his card yet. He said the post office told him I never shipped. I told him that I did and if he wanted to file a claim that I was fine with that. The DC has since been updated to show that the package is being delivered today so it is a moot point, but I was fine with him filing a claim since I had my PayPal shipping DC to back me up.
