I always, always, always use delivery confirmation and I always ship thru PayPal. That way if a claim is opened I have PayPal as "back-up" to show that I shipped. If you can provide proof that you shipped then you will always win the claim.

I just had a guy message me last night on eBay having a fit because he hasn't gotten his card yet. He said the post office told him I never shipped. I told him that I did and if he wanted to file a claim that I was fine with that. The DC has since been updated to show that the package is being delivered today so it is a moot point, but I was fine with him filing a claim since I had my PayPal shipping DC to back me up.

Same sort of thing happened to my mom. A buyer contacted her saying he never got an item, but my mom had DC, and showed him the number and all. Needless to say, he never contacted her again and didn't even leave feedback

Thanks for the suppert everyone! Well I agree on tracking, I have a rule not sending anything above $100 without tracking, but maybe I should lower that. Problem is, tracking is so darn expensive, and it just went up this year too. Say if I sell a sportscard for $60, normal airmail costs $4, but tracking and all it can cost up to $20, and I know a lot of buyers won't buy the card then as the total costs too much

When you say add tracking is that the same thing as DC?

DC = ? Tracking is registered airmail, there's no other option here. Well there's express but that is wothout tracking (duh!), and package of course if its heavy, which also has a track nr then.
