I hope you made them agree with you on what they are sending you for your troubles. Otherwise you might end up with something like 2 packs of victory. Always make them tell you exactly what they are going to send you

There's not much I could do really. I could've kept them, but I hate Hossa. I could've traded them, but I haven't been collecting in awhile and I doubt something would catch my eye that much. I could've have sold them on eBay, while risking my eBay accounting being banned for stolen property. Or, I could give them back to UD and hope they send me something nice to sell/trade.

Regardless of all the foul ups Upper Deck has had, I still think sending these back was the right decision. I think you would definitely send you something nice, especially if you have to use your own money to ship them back to them in the first place.
Definitely keep us updated, great story so far!

I was thinking something Yzerman/Lidstrom. I don't really want to just go Crosby/Ovie/Gretzky.

Well, after what seemed like forever, Upper Deck did send me some stuff. I had originally asked for Lions/Red Wings items and here is what I got (sorry for not having scans):
1. Steve Yzerman & Mark Messier SP Authentic Prestigious Pairings AU #'d 100
2. Ndamukong Suh SP Authentic Rookie Auto Patch #'d 299 (2 Color)
3. Jahvid Best SP Authentic Rookie Auto Patch #'d 199 (1 Color)
4. Matthew Stafford Exquisite Triple Patch #'d 30 (3 Color)
Needless to say I was very, very happy with what I got back. I am very pleased with Upper Deck right now!
I'm not really looking to trade them, but I would consider selling as I need money for college.
