UD replacements!!!

so i recently placed a replacement on my doughty jersey patch card very very damaged /35.. i was then told i would receive a patch card of similar value and since im a duchene collector i asked if the patch could be of duchene... i got my replacement card today and they sent me a duchene winning materials:/... are you kidding?! i then just called and i was told that there was supposed to be a patch coming but since i called and asked for duchene they sent me this duchene.. i was also told i should be happy since it the most hig end duchene they have available.. my luck:(


just for clarification i did not send in my doughty sent them scans of it but either way the doughty is bad... and sending me a little jersey card for it...

Talk to a manager. That is completely unacceptable.

Ask for a Gretzky, Crosby, Roy or Yzerman patch.

Not to take away, but a quick question for any who might know. How long after a product is released will UD replace damaged cards?

Back to topic, that is horrible. There's no way I would settle for that.

I can't believe they would respond with that, what a joke. I agree, call them back and cause a stink until they up the payoff. Downgrading you from a patch to a jersey card is not acceptable at all.

Also wickabee do you mean like you opened an older product from years past? Ive only had one experience similar to that where i opened a box of their 07/08 hot prospects and got no patch and they basically said it was too old and its 1 "on average"

I've only heard about stuff like this! My brother's friend had an expired redemption he got in an old pack. Well they exchange those out. So they sent him the BV of his card worth of inserts!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!

On a side note! I just pulled an 05/06 Dual Auto Rookie redemption of Getzlaf/Spezza! So I am in the same process of exchanging it. They had me send a list of replacement wants. Then I had to fill out some info and it says "all exchanges are on a case to case basis. Not all exchanges will be honored". It's a $60 BV card so I hope they don't screw me over???

Sorry to hear about this and I would also try to contact a supervisor of some sort and figure something out? This is also why I don't do UD anymore. I am trying my luck with Panini only this year, Brad.

Essentially. I opened some 08-09 Artifacts and wound up with a damaged JSY card. Just wondering what qualifies as "too old" for this case and for future reference.

did you sent the doughty patch card to UD or do you still have it (even if its damaged) ?

if you still have it, i think you can't complain. you got yourself a free Duchene JSY card.

but if you sent it in this replacement is total crap
