    Finally bought a KG auto

I had been wanting to add one of his autos to my collection for a long time. This one was perfect for a couple reasons

    1. I like buyback autos
    2. It is his ROOKIE buyback auto
    3. Great price!!! (Right??)
    4. I love this original SP set since it came out!

Gotta tell you man, that looks fake. The hologram looks wrong (and the number isn't in the UD database) and the auto doesn't look that good either. On top of that Beckett states that his 95-96 Buyback should be numbered out of 21, not 23.

Go to Upper Deck website, and under memorabilia or something there should be a link to check your hologram or something.

Oh and one other thing, I think the buyback autos should start with AA on the hologram

Just sent the seller this email

My friend just looked at this auction and noticed 3 things

    1. The auto looks fake
    2. The hologram number isn't in the UD's database
    3. Beckett lists his buybacks from that set to be /21 not /23.

The points 2 and 3 aren't concrete evidence (Beckett is sometimes wrong, UD don't have every single hologram in their database), and point 1 is only an opinion, but it all looks a bit sus.
I just hate to see people get conned so I hope you get out of this one without losing anything.

I already paid but it was with paypal. And you know paypal bends over backwards for buyers and sticks it to sellers so I am not worried at all.

Now I'm starting to doubt my advice... as my previously-owned Kobe did have a BA number and a simlar hologram:

However the font is much thicker and let's face it, that KG auto looks pretty weak
