Potential Fake Patch Alert!!!
Hey everyone, not sure if you saw my post of a bogus Griffey Patch a seller listed on ebay, I looked at his other auctions and came across this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Blake-Griffin-09...item2c5b81bab1
First it does not say "Prime" under the patch (most obvious sign of a fake)
Second: it is numbered /399. The patches i thought were numbered /25
Just a little heads up, if I am completely off base, please let me know.
Frank

the /399 version has no patch, that I've seen. I'd bet the farm on that being fake. I did see that Griffey the other night, what a travesty! Feel bad for the bidders.

Hey guys please expand on how the Griffin is fake for sure. I found this below in anoth auction on ebay. It is a patch /399 without the prime tag...Becket does list a Griffin /399 auto mem.. I did not think that there are fake auto cards like this out there.
Is he changing the patch or creating the card from fresh?
