Got 1 diamond giveaway in the topps packs the card I redeemed 1995 johnny valentin, the dig was a ted williams virtual ring. Here comes the problem, the 2 diamond giveaway codes that came with the package keep coming up as invalid, and of course topps servor is down,so time to waste a phone call come monday morning.

Well I couldn't get Topps on the phone but I did get a response to my email,I either have to scan them a picture of the codes, send them the upc code and the receipt, which are both gone as I threw them away not foreseeing this sort of problem,I am not spending my money to mail them anything as it was their screw up in the first place,I'll just consider it as 2 rotten cards I won't be able to get.

You have to email Topps with the subject line "2011 Topps Diamond Giveaway" with the bad codes and they'll give you good codes to use. The 2 seperate codes that come with these boxes are all like that.

I think someone stole the codes since you can see them in the packaging like you said Steve. I wonder if Topps can trace the codes back to a user to find out who's stealing the codes from the $14.99 mixed pack thingy's. 90% of the code cards I've submitted from both 2010 and 2011 products where you can see the code cards were invalid. I only tried one pkg with the bonus code card from 2011, but got burned on 3 pkgs last year. I won't be buying any more of those in 2011 because chances are the codes were already used by someone who wrote them down in the store.
