No successes today, I do have a RTS from Warren Moon (C/O hall of fame) to report. It says the "Undeliverable as addressed". I'm assuming that's cause the HOF sharpied out the address I wrote amd put a small sticker with a forwarding address (is that normally what they do?) I will probably try him again through the forwarding address.

I do have a kind of cool "unofficial success" story to share. This saturday was my cousin, on my dad's side's wedding and I got to see a lot of family I hadn't seen in a while, including my uncle (dad's bro) who is only 7 years older than me and we hit it off great. Anyways we were talking and he said his bestfriend's brother is, former Bloomington Jefferson/Kansas Jayhawks star and current NBA D-Leaguer, Cole Aldrich and he has hung out with them multiple times. Next time he does see them he's going to get me an autograph from Cole.

Then to top it off, My cousin who was getting married, married the cousin of, (current) presidental canidate and former MN govenor, Tim Pawlenty. So If he becomes president (which is unlikely) I could say that, by marriage, I was related to the president ;) lol and I could probably get an authentic signature instead of a pre print/auto pen most presidents give.

Just a couple of little stories to make the visit to my page today worth while, since the RTS wasn't, hope you enjoyed them.

    Thanks for reading!

That's too bad about Moon...I got an RTS when I sent to the Hall of Fame awhile back. There's another address in the TTMM that works...couple cool stories, though!

Got another RTS from Warren Moon today, using the forwarding address given by the HOF. Third time's the charm? I guess we'll see. Besides that nothing, continuing an 18 day drought.

No successes yesterday, but I did get my Minnesota Timberwolves t-shirt that i won in their 'March to 100K contest'. The grand prize was an autographed K Love jersey, but I ended up getting the third prize. Wasn't able to report it, yesterday, because we had a bad storm that somehow messed up our internet access until a few minutes ago.

Idk if they are doing this everywhere or what, but I went down to the post office to buy some stamps and there is a sign on the door saying "Post Office closed Saturday-Monday. No mail will be delievered. Sorry for the inconvience." Idk about anywhere else but this is the first year I can remember where the post office was closed for the whole 4th of July weekend. Usually just the sunday before/after and on the 4th. Anyone else have this problem?

That is strange. My post office delivered mail to me yesterday, so it obviously wasn't all across the US. Can't imagine why your post office would have been closed on Saturday.

Nothing again today...Haven't gotten anything TTM since June 10th (been shooting out requests like crazy, too). On the bright side I won a facebook contest, today, and recieved two free Lower Level tix to the Minnesota Lynx game on Saturday, Vs. the Connetcuit Sun. So I will have a great IP opportunity coming up. And hopefully the TTM's will start flying in soon.

Today ended a 1 month and 6 day drought when I recieved former Minnesota Vikings great, WR, Anthony Carter. It was post marked from West Palm Beach, FL. Really happy about this success, as for I am a huge Vikes fan and this is a great addition to my Vikings collection. I don't have an exact date but the request was sent in early May, so about 2 1/2 months.

After a short 1 week drought, I recieved an EPIC success today....Florida Marlins manager Jack McKeon!!! C/O the Marlins it took about a month. As a pretty big Marlins fan that doesn't live in or near Florida and doesn't get to 'graph them much (last time was '08) I am really happy with this succes!! To top it off the envelope was not postmarked and the stamp is reuseable.

Well I finally got a success, my first one since July. It was yesterday, but I forgot/didn't have time to report it.

Former Minnesota Vikings specialist and Linebacker Tuinaeu Alipate 1/1 c/o home in about 3 weeks.

    Happy with this success.
