This one's getting pretty close to being derailed, so I'm going to try and steer it back on track but first a word or two - we are happy to have Panini's involvement here at SCF. Their presence in answering questions assists our collectors in making informed decisions. We work hard with all companies so that they can be involved with the site and help us grow, and also give them some more exposure. It's a win-win situation to have their involvement.
I realize that individuals are going to have their frustrations, and redemptions are usually the central aspect of that frustration. Personally, I'm of the opinion that if you've got a grievance it is best to use sugar instead of vinegar when attempting to get a response and a resolution. It's probably also best to keep a private matter just then when appropriate. Again, I understand and appreciate that there are going to be frustrating scenarios that arise and in some cases shining a public light on them can be helpful in bringing awareness to an ongoing situation. The issue over the Crosby dual redemptions in Certified is one of them, as an example.
Individual redemptions and the manner in which they are dealt with is a case-by-case basis, especially those between a customer and the manufacturer. I would ask that if our collectors do have problems with any manufacturer and they choose to disclose them publicly that they do so in a respectful fashion.
Thanks.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Its nice that Brian Price of ITG contributes to this board and the hobby as well. Maybe they will get a license and show Panini America what customer service is supposed to look like.

If my recollection is accurate, they didn't even give him the opportunity for a hearing to allow him to make his case last year, which can't be a good omen. He'll likely have to continue being the little card company that can for a while.

I'll make Panini a deal. They can send me a case of Pinnacle and I'll send them a redemption card for some cash. When they redeem my redemption card, I'll redeem their's.
So do we have a deal Panini? Of course not. So why shouldn't the consumer be pi$$ed off if put in a similar situation... and by the way if you aren't too busy tweeting I still haven't gotten my return call. Its been a week now.
