HUGE USPS Rate Increases To Canada Effective Yesterday
Came into effect yesterday........
Oregon to Canada
WAS
Smallest Bubble Mailer +Plus, One Card = $1.31
IS
Smallest Bubble Mailer +Plus, One Card + $1.72
A Whopping increase of $.41 Cents for the smallest of transactions. I might also add, domestically in the USA, the 2nd ounce of postage on small items has taken a similar increase.

This hurts like it has never hurt before.

Canada Post is gonna be doing the same thing very soon. My post office manager said it is because of fuel costs. She said small packets to USA aren't going up but any parcels, or air mail. Everything is goin up! Food prices, gas prices, utility prices, wax box prices etc etc etc.

What do you expect. The usps has been so mismanaged for so many years. I remember a few years back they were crying poverty but yet somehow found $100,000 to throw a party for the then postmaster!

Cost me $1.98 to send 4 cards in one bubble mailer to Canada today. I'm probably going to have to start charging $2.50 for shipping on eBay auctions instead of $2.00.

Maybe now I won't get 3 stars for charging 3.00 to ship to the U.S.
Also if everything is going up, how come my wage is going down?

its been over $2 CAD to ship to the states for a long time now
You Americans complain about the price increases
..... come live up North =P
The best one we get living in Vancouver ..... "Oh no, its almost $4 a gallon" ... here we've paid over $1.30 a liter for months now .... thats closer to $5 a gallon already!
In the long run ... its the price we pay to live in North America .... would anyone choose to save a couple cents here and there, but live in Africa, the Middle East or Asia .... I know for sure I wouldnt
