idk, I think it might actually be real. For that particular patch on the Suns jersey at that time when Penny Hardaway played, that wasn't a patch on the jersey--it was just a plain screenprinted design on the jersey and not just a layered patch like they are today. Just my two cents, though.

yeah this is true but look at my triple "prime" tott card they say prime over these screen prints far left and far right, the middle is obviously a patch

but i have a panini "prime" sp/50 and its just plain white. cant remember who it was off top of my head but it was from classics...so them not putting prime on it isnt really important to me because isnt the prime usually low serial numbered and automatically marked prime anyways...or mines an oddball

yours could be all white but is it from a patch like say a number? or a letter? they consider them to be prime because they are a patch.I have seen many like that.I also have this card which isnt a prime but it's not a crazy 3 color jersey either! and it looks legit but as far as im concerned mine could be a fake aswell ??

no mines just a plain white swatch no patch or humber or anything lol my only guess is they may of ran out of the player and just stuffed the white swatch in until they could get more jerseys

Yes, /199 is 1 color. this is fake jersey switch.

That goes the same for the original post. That is fake jersey switch. /99 is 1 color (purple only).

All multi color jersey switch are considered as prime in Panini product. You can see the same rule apply to Olajuwon, I.Thomas jersey.

ikd if people were gonna fake something i think it would be off the wall like that tott "patch" fake,Panini need to make this more clearer i think them Hakeem's are legit maybe panini considers "prime" to just be a patch? but then again they consider multi color eblems a "prime" on the double and triples.Anyway to get ahold of panini and seek their oppinion on my blast from the past 2 color? every prime i have seen /30 of them have been orange and black sewn break

It's because of this type of crap that I just don't feel comfortable buying any individual card ungraded off eBay. Even if its just BCCG, at least I know its real.

i read a thread the other day...BGS or other grading services does not authenticate if the patch is real or not...they just grade the condition of the card
i remembered a fake patch card got reported, then later the seller got it graded from BGS...
