    re:

    Thanks guys!

RGM - great point. The booklet sits perfectly flush between the 2 pieces of acrylic, but the auto does not look to be heavily pressed onto the surface. Since there are 2 magnets pressing the two edges together, most of the tension is focused on the outer portion of the booklet itself. The magnets as they are provide just the needed amount of space to hold that card tightly in place, as you can tell from the pictures.

BUT - I am putting my engineering degree to use and going to research how to resist transferring or even making another design that enables the card to sit within 4 edges with diamond corners so there is no pressing of the card at all

rgm is right and i paid a valualble price for that mistake...also if your mancave happens to be in a basement be very careful as well... run a dehumidifier if you do (mold can set in over a period of time because the edges of the card are open to the air )...also getting some big plastic sleeve to cover booklet beforeputting it in the case (it does take a little away from the beautiful display you have but a small price to pay to give the card longevity..also too much lighting will fade cards and autos as well..(again another expensive price i paid...(a buddy of mine just about lost all of his 500 homerun club auto ball due to excessive lighting) i spoke with a rep that works for sylvania and he told me that these new low watt soft white 7-9 year bulbs arent as hard on autos the lower the wattage the better obviously ...just some suggestions to go along with rgm's....

nevertheless you need to get a patent going for that for sure.....great work there....nice rice collection as well...
