Don't be mean guys. If a guy likes Malkin, that's his prerogative. I don't feel like any of the deals were unfair and I don't really want people speaking poorly of my trade partners.

not if your upfront about it
this would be a lot cooler if you didnt have a million posts about this big "experiment" and you did this in private without anyone knowing and at the end showed what you did instead of using all of this to get better cards than your offering. personally dont like it but hey, my opinion and more power to you

I compensate people for their cards. Sometimes it's from small extra cards or a bit of cash like you've seen.
I don't feel like anyone gets ripped off. If they felt that way, they wouldn't deal with me.
I just do this for fun guys. No need for technicalities. I wanted to share because I got a lot of support from the community.

+1, basically this experiment is about ripping off people, the dude that trade you the ovy vs the malkin, was probbaly ignorant about the value...because of BV...and you took advantage, i'm not saying its bad, but its the whole point of this, sometimes people offer you a lot for a card they really want, and i know thats true, so yes its it 100% legit and anyone would've done the same thing as you
