Hobby-wise? I'd go with Subbie-doobie-doo. ;)

Hard to say for sure.
For example, Jason Spezza was drafted 2nd overall... and has over the years had a pretty successful career and he gets no hobby love at all. Could be the team he plays on, could be that collectors are always after the next batch of RCs and forget the previous ones unless they are superstars.

Nobody is talking about the Youngest ROY Jeff Skinner.

Well, if you already don't care about Subban, then you've pretty much narrowed down your choice to Seguin. Personally, I'd rather collect Doughty or Lidstrom over Subban.

I'd go with Seguin. The guy plays like 7 minutes a game and still is one of the most talented players at age 19 on the Boston team. He has been under utilized by a veteran-favored coach. He also plays with Michael Ryder and Chris Kelly...not exactly the best line mates IMO.
Subban has some flair and a great one-timer, but until he learns to play better D, he will eventually fade into the background, even in Montreal. Carey Price is King there now, IMO, and everyone else is just supporting cast.
Forwards also naturally have a better following than defensemen in the hobby.
Prime example, Drew Doughty. The guy is the closest thing to an Orr and his cards have fallen off the wagon.
Seguin has the POTENTIAL to be the centerpiece for the Bruins for a VERY long time. You can't say the same about Subban.

Oh, and not to change the topic, but the whole Taylor vs Tyler....
Tyler.
Better team.
Better organization.
Better city.

I love Doughty also, Duncan Keith is my favorite player. I have just noticed their stuff isn't near as valuable as forwards. Its also amazing how cheap Skinner YG's still are. He had the best season and hes like 18. I got one of those and I will hang on to it. Defensemen besides Lidstrom really seem to have a shorter shelf life too lately. . .

I personally think Seguin has a higher ceiling as a forward, but Subban does have the Montreal factor in play.
