Vince Young would be my pick, but also possibly Leinart. I think Adrian Peterson would have a good shot but he's gonna be splitting alot of the carries with the other RB (can't remember his name). The PAC-10 is so weak in football that it gives Leinart a chance to blow up his numbers.

it will be reggie bush
he deserves it
the heisman goes to the best football player
not the best quarterback
this guy can run, pass, and catch
he is a true football player and will do anything and everything for a team
vince young is a mini-vick with a worse arm
leinart is a typical quarterback who wins games just like carson palmer

Reggie Bush. He can do it all, if not Reggie, then Adrian Peterson, and I dont think Adrian is gonna be sharing to many carries.

Darkhorse Candidate: Charlie Whitehurst, Clemson
Yes, I'm a Clemson fan... so I'm biased. No, I don't really think a Clemson player will ever win the Heisman. However, here's a couple reasons it COULD happen:
1) Charlie has legitimate talent. After his sophmore year he was getting pub for last years Heisman, but didn't do so hot last year due to offensive schemes
2) New offensive coordinator has history of getting the most out of QB's in a short time-frame.
3) Clemson plays a tough schedule that will get alot of tv exposure
4) The three roughest games of the season (FSU, Miami, A&M) are all at home.
Ok, so I guess I need to have a real candidate as well. I agree that Young and Leinart are two of the best. I think the difference is the level of competition. USC has built their program around mediocre competition (same way VA Tech built theirs). Texas has strong competition in Oklahoma (even if they can't beat them) and A&M (who they regularly beat, but will be better this year), but also legitimate opponents in several other Big 12 Teams (which is much deeper than the Pac10).
So my pick is... Vince Young
