it doesnt have to be "all about the money" for you to know what your card is worth. i collect dolphins & ronnie brown cards and would not trade them or sell them, but i still like knowing what they are worth. and besides that, all the other cards i have that i would like to trade in order to get dolphins & ronnie browns? not going to be able to do that unless i know the bv. what "some book" says that our cards are worth is unfortunately all we have to go by to gague our trading (in *most* cases, at least). The fact that anyone can go to www.beckett.com and look up ANY card for free leaves no excuse for not knowing what your cards are worth...especially when you're offering trades or trying to trade for something. Maybe this should go under the pet peeves thread, but is there anything worse than when you offer a trade....and you post your card & the bv and you get all kinds of offers but the people dont list the BVs of the cards they are offering you? i dont want to have to look up 98million of everyone else's cards just to trade my 1 card. maybe it's just me. wow, what a rant. lol. i'll go take a nap now...
