And so boys and girls...went out to miraj trading today and picked up 2 boxes of SPX 08-09, as well as several packs of toploaders/latest beckett/boxes for base cards etc. Not a bad total bill, and here's the result of the haul...and yes, it did include an expired redemption...




the redemption was for an auto radiance winning combos /25 of lanny macdonald and rick vaive...so kinda disappointing, but I guess that's what I get for buying the boxes for $79 instead of the original price of $139...

Got a few SPxcitements and 2 rookies /499, one of which was Hjarmalsson who has been picking it up lately. Not bad for my first box breaks ever, and got the first taste of collecting disappointment with the expired redemption, but I knew that going in.

Also the base set from 08-09 SPX are beautiful...I'm about 12 cards short of completing that as well.

btw the Miraj store owner was super nice, and gave me for free after my multi box/supply purchase the entire Biography of a season 10-11 subset from 1-30 which was super cool, didn't even ask for a deal as I work in retail and know what's up...but his prices are wickedly awesome, nice for a LCS! He still has a few "the cup" boxes left too, 4 he said from 09-10 if anyone is looking, you can order from him online. He doesn't deal in singles, but I know where I'm going for my boxes from now on
