    I go by what the Manufacturer prints. If It is a Rookie to the manufacturer and their first card printed, then it is a Rookie to me.

    Beckett does not manufacture cards, they have no dog in this fight.

    It would mean the same thing for this year Heroes and Prospects which some had the little rookie written on them

    I said 'No', but you can, of course, make a case for either side.

    I don't really understand why a collector would want a player to have 'another' low-end rookie card - each one has so many already, is having this release with the RC designation really necessary? Boxed sets just never seem that 'collectible' to me. 1 game-used and 5 parallels along with the base set for $20 just doesn't 'feel' right.
