Qualifying Offers - Who Gets One, Who Walks?
The deadline for teams to submit qualifying offers to their pending RFA's was 5pm EDT today. Not much news out there yet but I'm seeing things from various sources.
If a player is qualified, he doesn't have to sign it, but the offer allows the team to retain his rights as an RFA (and thus compensation rules apply if poached by another team) - if a player does not receive a QO they become an UFA on Friday.
Montreal
Qualified - Josh Gorges, Ryan White, Yannick Weber
Not - Benoit Pouliot, Tom Pyatt, Alex Picard
Calgary
Qualified - Leland Irving
Not - Matt Pelech
St. Louis
Qualified - T.J. Oshie, Ben Bishop, Ryan Reaves
Washington
Qualified - Karl Alzner, Seymon Varlamov, Troy Brouwer
Not - 3 guys I never heard of
I'm sure there's more news filtering out there.
Feel free to add more names & your thoughts.

Blues did not qualify D'Agostini.
Glad to see they offered Bishop a contract, hopefully he will play well in camp and take the back-up spot.
