I'm not doing anything of the sort. I've clearly stated in multiple posts what the protection level is - and the Cavs website you linked says the exact same thing.
You are the one that keeps arguing when you could have just asked how the protection works if you don't understand it.

I read this portion of the article.
"The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired guard/forward Omri Casspi and Sacramento’s first round pick (protected) in the 2012 NBA Draft from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for forward/center J.J. Hickson, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced today."

Did you not read the "protected" part in that paragraph? or you just chose to ignore it?

Except it's not...
It could be - or it could be in 2017.
It's only in the 2012 pick if the Kings make the playoffs. How are you not understanding that?

Kings have to make the playoffs to get the lottery pick in the next few years.....No way that they make it with the West being loaded year after year...same teams usually make it with a surprise team sneaking in but not the Kings....this pick will be outside the lottery for sure whenever the pick is used...

Not necessarily - the only full lottery protection is in 2012 - after that the Kings can miss the playoffs and the pick could still belong to Cleveland.
But for all intents and purposes you are right - the Cavs probably won't use the pick until the Kings make the playoffs.
