Tough to judge from a scan but I see a major flaw that could be an entire point, the card is not centered and if you look at his name and position, that also is way off. Nice card though.

Sorry for the second post, as I am learning the ins and outs of the site. The card itself is nice, but a scan is tough to grade. I believe that not only the centering overall is issue, if you look at the name and position, that also is substantially off center. All grading companies should go to the point system which gives you and possibly a future purchaser once graded, the actual area where deductions are made. Just an opinion, as we all look at graded cards and sometimes we look real hard and just can't figure where, or what that particular grading came from. Beckett is doing it fairly well now and it has become the grader of choice of many of my customers. All said, you have a good looking card there.

Thanks for the replies. I am still scratching my head on this one.
Here is a PSA 9 from my collection:

Here is the 7:

The centering looks identical on each card. No worries, I will let it go and maybe try to resubmit.....could it get any lower than a 7?!?!
Thanks again everyone!

well I mean like you said you thought at worst the condition of it would be an 8 which sounds like you thought that there might be some imperfections. Their job is to be as hard with the critiquing as possible, maybe see something that we saw but still thought maybe it wouldn't get marked down for that.
For any further evaluation I'd think we'd also need to see a scan of the back as well
