    Pretty much, yup.

Anyway, he went undrafted because he doesn't have much potential at the next level. He holds all the records because he was a 5 year starter in an offense that did nothing but pass. I think they recruited a decent RB, but even he transfered to VT or UVA(close to his home) because he wasn't being used. He's a system guy like the TT QBs.

To some here, you can hate on Chang all you want. You can give "excuses" as to why Chang is the most prolific passer in college history. You can say Chang didn't get drafted. (Warren Moon didn't get drafted either - to me, there are still some pre-conceived misconceptions in the NFL GMs). You can say all this.

But you can't deny Chang's popularity. He's a role model for many. He's a source of pride for many. He's a cultural icon that no other player can possess. He's already rewrote college record books.... and as soon as he makes an NFL team, he will instantly make history as the first asian QB in the league.

from what i remembered, Ty Detmer was a 9th round pick, yet his cards were nearly as expensive as the 1st round picks. especially his Pro Set RC card.

Noone is saying he's a bad guy or his achievements are bad. It's just that he'll most likely turn out like Ty Detmer. I applaud his successes in the NCAA but his future in the NFL doesn't look good. He may surprise us all and do really good in the NFL and I'll applaud more if he does.
