Who is the more supreme player and why?

Dirk offensively, KG defensively. Currently, the nod goes to Dirk but both in their primes I take KG.

In their prime KG was more dominant. But now KG is more a defensive player and Dirk a more offensive one. Right now Dirk will be a more complete player.

If you're saying now, Dirk, easy. But if you look at them both overall in their prime, garnett easily.

Dirk is the better IMO. KG in his prime is way better defender but the offense of what Dirk has really over powers KG D. If you take Dirk off the Mavs they would be a lot worse the KG leaving the celtics or the wolves. Really just my opinion. Just how i feel. Its not everyday you got a guy that can shoot like Kobe and that he is 7 foot tall. Freak of nature!

Honestly I disagree with the take Dirk of the Mavs and Take KG off the wolves statement... The wolves would have been HORRIBLE if KG wasnt on the team. KG never had a robin unless you count Stephon Marbury or Wally Szczerbiak.... Dirk had a sixth man last year that would start on at least 75 percent of teams in the NBA

Right now it's dirk because he just won a ring and beat the heatles. Garnett has been struggling with injuries as of late. So dirk now but KG in prime was a beast. It's a toss up.
