You found a great hockey forum. I am sure you will find many cards to add to your pc. Hopefully, if you have a lot of cards from the vintage era you can showcase them in the future. Those cards never get the hobby love like they should.

Hey Dagger, glad you joined! We need as many hockey fans here as possible! I really respect the way you are collecting, I at times also yearn for the days of 3 to 5 sets to collect without all the parallels. You would be surprised how many on the boards feel the same way you do!
As don pointed out please get some scans of your cards up in the Show/Tell Hockey section......I would love to see some of it. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks for the kind words, Billy. The bulk of my 'vintage' starts with the 50's Parkie sets, but I do have, as I said, a handful of pre-war stuff, and a good start on the 39-40 OPC 5x7 sets (Habs only, natch). I'll definitely try to get a post up in the show & tell section.
