The two sides met again last wednesday... they both pretty much said they planned on meeting a bunch more within the next few weeks. Neither side really said they made progress, though. David Stern said he still believes they could have a full season if both sides gave in some.

I believe during the 98 lockout the date was around Sept. 28th by the time they had to start moving things back. I know they already released the pre-season/reg-season schedueles, but I doubt they will stay the same (still need time for free-agency period, as well as training camps). My guess (along with most others) is that they won't have a full season. I believe they will lose maybe a month, or around 15-20 games. I am hoping for the best right along with you!

Well, they just had another meeting last week and nothing has changed, but according the the heads of the union and owners they are trying to get somthing done. I heard that somthing needs to happen by oct. 6 or they will start cancelling preseason games.

Ok, so Cancellations Have Not Yet Begun... Guess that is good. I am Surprised If that is the case, that they would wait soo Late. Because I know for sure Pre-season Games Start in October.. So October 6th would Be Even Late.
But they have trying to get "somemthing done" for awhile.. guess Whoever breaks first. Or who needs who more. Or who Loses the most money will give in first.

Owners lost money over the last year. The players are willing to decrease some, but haven't very much at all.....
