Ea Sports NHL is always my Fav game, and this one is the best forsure. I think the gameplay is a little like NHL11 but overall there is enough new features that it feels like a new game. I already can't wait for NHL13.

Just finished my first BAP season in the NHL. first line centre for the Habs now, won the Cup, Conn Smythe, Hart, Art Ross, Richard, Lester B. Pearson trophies and got signed up to a new contract. Surprise at the start of the season though...Habs got rid of Gionta and Cammy! Not happy with the GM there...

I got drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1st round. I'm in my 2nd game and i'm starting on the 3rd line :( I also need to get into this Ultimate Hockey Team thinger

I love it, mostly playing Be A Pro atm but everything else is amazing!

I absolutely LOVE NHL 12! I'm playing through a season in Be A GM with my roommates and we're currently sitting at 45-0....with the Islanders lol. EPIC!
PROS:
Being able to jostle in front of the net is a HUGE improvement. Improves deflections, and is much more realistic.
Getting penalties for hitting the goaltender...much more realistic.
Checks into the bench and through the glass - just a real big cool factor lol.
CONS:
I HATE the passing in general. I think I can adjust the pass speed to fix this but the default passing speed is RIDICULOUSLY slow.
Getting goalie interference penalties after getting pushed into the goalie by your opponent. For me anyways, this seems to happen WAAAY too often and just gets annoying.
Overall I LOVE NHL12, a VAST improvement over NHL11 IMO.
