Maybe he hates living in the midwest as much as I do, hahaha. I don't really hate it, just the harsh winters. The address in the TTM manager said IL for the state but the PO said that zip code is for IN so maybe thats the problem??

hmmmmm..I see your Erskine comment. I sent to him in August of this year and live 1 state away also....still no return either. I have received two USPS "body bags" since that time period which both times had only had my sase's folded up......Since I use my addy as the "to" and "from", I have no idea who I sent them to....I just assumed Erskine was one of those but maybe not....

I live in Ohio...sent to Erskine at the very beginning on August, I believe, and got it back four days later with a signed card and a note...wonder what's up. Hope his health is alright...

I saw something on SCN about this. Someone on there knows him well and they said he's doing well. Didn't say why he's slowed down on mail. I think I remember them saying something about he travels to see family sometimes or something.

So there is still hope then! Hopefully he is visiting family. It was just odd b/c people have gotten returns from him while others in the midwest seem to not be getting them. Although someone did post they are in OH and got a return so hopefully mine comes back!

I had a big day today!! First, Mr. Erskine came through for me afterall and w/ more than expected!! He signed the ball and included LOTS of inscriptions. He also included a note card where he answered some questions and signed that as well (I am fairly certain I forgot to add the notecard myself, doh!). Awesome return from him and totally worth the wait!!!

And my second return today in 7 days total, John "Mule" Miles. Its great to see some of the Negro Leaguers still around and still willing to sign. He included 3 note cards (pretty sure I only added one MAYBE two to the envelope, but certainly not 3) and a little biography that he signed on the bottom as well. As you can see he added a few inscriptions to the ball as well!!
