IMO the first made and jersey number is a 1/1 because they are the only two that sell for premiums when the rest of the numbers don't really matter.

ive always found serial numbers funny on cards. just because a card is stamped #1/100 doesn't mean it was the first one made. it just means it was the first one to get stamped with a serial number. i respect when people get excited about their card on auction have the players jersey number but as soon as they say its a 1/1 i am no longer interested. it may appeal to casual collectors but not to me.

They may be the only ones that sell for a premium but that still does not make them 1/1s. I do understand why some people might be interested in these particular SNs but it does not make them 1/1s IMO there is no difference between what you do with your Ebay 1/1s and other people listing patches or non-autos. It's deceptive and people who make a habit of it may get ignored at he very least or excluded at the worst. I'm not sure its a very good strategy.
